It's been tooooo long

OK, I gotta do better with my blog, and I plan on doing that within the coming weeks. I'm working on my radio career (I am currently assisting a on-air personality with his show), and I am working on a radio demo. I'm going to post them to get people's opinions on what is working, what isnt, and what area I can do better in. So next week will be the premiere of my radio blog!

In The Music!!!!

Many people dont know this, but I have been known to make some nice chill mixtapes (it's a mix CD, but we still call them mixtapes), so my best friend suggested that I put a sample online so everyone can hear what I do. Now I dont have any DJ equipment, but I have DJ software, and I think I do pretty good If I say so myself. Now most of the mixes that I have done are romantic mixes....like that bedtime music so to speak, and I've also done jazz/chillout mixes, which most of my friend like because it puts them in a chill zone. I plan to work on one within the next couple of weeks and put it online for your enjoyment.

Missing our blessing

Many people know that I have a lot of female friends, and I often hear some of them mention how they might have missed out on someone great. Now for the longest time I would always think that it was the men that would somehow mess up a great thing, and miss out on our destiny, but when you have a chance to sit and listen to females it almost shocks you. I feel that the reason why some of us (men and women) miss our blessing is because we feel that we're not ready to be with that one person. sometimes we feel that we're not on their level yet, or we feel that we might be missing out on "Mr right now" if we decide to date "Mr right", which makes no kind of sense, but it's reality.

I believe that If we dont accept and embrace the person, who is our blessing, GOD will allow someone else to see the blessing. I think we get comfortable, thinking that when we're ready, the person will still be there waiting on us, and sometimes that is the case. I truly believe that in some cases GOD only has one person for us, but in other cases GOD will allow someone else to notice the blessing If you dont appreciate it. Some of us want to wait until we're on a certain level career wise, and financially before we settle down, but think on this........

We end up making 3 million a year, we get the 8 bedroom, 4 car garage house, we have the two dogs, but who will you have to share it with? It is not good for man (or woman) to be alone. If you have that blessing in your grasp, or If you see your blessing, reach up and get it.

It's been such a long time.....

It's late, and I haven't blogged in a hot minute. there have been some good things happening with me, and I will share them this weekend.....

Inner thoughts of love

I was debating on which story I should share today, and even as I'm typing this, I'm still a lil bit undecided......oh well, here goes. Recently I met this young lady who is quite interesting. She has goals, and she is doing what she needs to do to accomplish those goals (which is very attractive to me). She recently emailed me and expressed interest, now I was shocked....so shocked that I read the email 3 times to make sure that I didn't interpret what she was saying the wrong way. After a couple of days of pondering over it, I emailed her back, told her to hit me back with her information, and we would go from there...I even gave her my number just because, lol. Now that was about a week and a half ago, and nothing yet, not another email, or a call. Now I have gotten a couple of text messages from a number that I don't have in my current phone. I even checked my old phone to see If it was someone that I left out when I was transferring all of my numbers, but it wasn't in there.

Now I've thought about calling the number to see If it's her....kind of wishful thinking. Now the thing is I'm not looking to be in a serious relationship. Right now I'm still in the healing process from a broken heart (I might tell that story one day.....maybe), and right now I don't feel that I can be a good friend/boyfriend to any female. Now I will admit that If I meet someone, and 4-6 months down the road things are still good between us then I would be open to taking that next step in our friendship/relationship. I tried not to ponder about her not calling or anything, but I just found it odd that she would put herself out there, and then when I say "lets roll with it" then nothing, but oh well.....maybe things aren't suppose to go in that direction for us......

13 Years in a row comes to an end

Around 9:30pm The Boston Red Sox officially eliminated the New York Yankees from playoff contention. While the Yankees did win their game in Toronto, the Red Sox did the same against Cleveland. Now some would tend to think that I would hop on the Red Sox bandwagon and root for them to win the World Series, but that would never happen! I would never root for the Boston Red Sox!!!! With that said, I have officially made my alliance with the Chicago Cubs. LETS GO CUBS!!!!!
